"This is my first 'plein air' painting painted at the Iris Gardens in Boulder, Colorado. The wind was blowing and I hunkered down behind a large trash container so my easel wouldn't blow over. After I got back into the studio, the light that I had painted on the vehicles was closer to a moonlight scene than midday, so I changed the sky to match the light on the truck."
