Saturday Art Workshop
"Introduction to Contemplative Art"

If you have always wanted to draw in your own style in a supportive atmosphere or wanted to draw from a meditative point-of-view, this is the class for you. As you begin to draw, you will quickly discover your inner intuitive process to create a personal expression you had no idea you could complete when you began to draw.

You will be introduced to a contemplative approach to art making and color theory. At the end of the day you will have completed at least two drawings.

You can bring your own oil pastels to class, or I will sell you a box at the first class. Good drawing paper will be provided at each session.

Color Theory

If you have ever wondered about Color Theory this is the workshop for you. Do you want to improve your understanding of colors?

Color Theory is about the relationship between colors. During the two sessions, you will experience color theory through the relationships among complimentary colors, cool colors, hot colors, ugly colors, beautiful "mud" colors and subtle colors.

You will also be introduced to a contemplative approach to art making. At the end of the day you will have completed at least two drawings.

You can bring your own oil pastels to class, or I will sell you a box at the first class. Good drawing paper will be provided at each session.
